A dramatic end to series 1

Wow, what a gripping end to the first series of &apos;Life on Mars&apos;. It just goes to show why this show is so loved even now, and that when cop shows are good they can be very good.

Full of brilliant performances from both regular cast and guests, this has more twists and turns in terms of plot than you&apos;d think possible for a one hour show.

I&apos;ve thoroughly enjoyed watching Sam&apos;s story play out thus far, and look forward to seeing how things develop further in series two.
