"Suspicion is in the air. Corky at the police station is inundated with calls of people acting strangely. They might be foreign spies. Charles Brown, Eric and Hattie all pop down to the police station to report on the couple who live opposite. It is the era of the cold war and everyone wants to move the fridge of their neighbours to check if there is an antenna underneath. All Corky wanted to do was finish his football pools. A nice episode that was rooted in the paranoia of the post 1960s spy scandals. If only people were more scrupulous about renewing their licence fees...."
