"Doctor Corder deals with two separate cases, young mother Doreen Stokes has failed to accept her newborn, Fay Bridges is keen to escape her marriage. The link in both cases, hypnotism. This first series has been so enjoyable so far, there has been real quality in every episode, this is another very, very good episode. Audiences must have found this show so original, so different. Once again there's evidence of this show dealing with themes that weren't commonplace in 1963, this time it's hypnotherapy, Doctor Corder truly is a man of many talents.
