"Patty has fallen for a new boy in school, Woodrow Warren Caldwell III (Dan Ferrone). "Woody" comes from high society, and Patty finds herself in a cultured battle of attraction against her nemesis Sue Ellen Turner (Kitty Sullivan). They both get in good graces with his mother, Mrs. Caldwell (30s/40s actress Dorothy Peterson, "Dark Victory", "Saboteur", in her final role) by helping out at her thrift shop.
