"Parodies on standard fare and classic films. The first is a homage to last man on earth films like the Omega Man. Homer buys a bomb shelter and survives a nuclear holocaust. The second is a remake of "The Fly," both versions, where Bart uses a transporter, and, of course, gets in with a fly. Finally, the craziness of the Salem witches is parodied, with Marge leading the way. Not quite as striking as others, but still very good...."

The Comic Book Guy's line "Oohh, I've wasted my life..." just before his doom is creator Matt Groening's favorite line.
