"This is an odd episode in that there is a rather nasty and xenophobic man (Bernard Lee)...and Father Brown really likes him and defends him. And, when the nasty man is found dead, Brown works with the police to piece together what happened. This was a VERY weak episode for several reasons. Some of the acting and characters (such as the minister who was violently against drinking) made no sense at all. Additionally, at the end, the murderer's identity seemed to come from out of left field and there was NO explanation why he committed murder. It left me with more questions unanswered than ..."
