"It is the end of the first full term. The staff and school will be on a Christmas break. The staff exchange presents, Class 5C play pranks such as substituting cigars with exploding cigars. Potter is not pleased. Class 5C is less pleased that Hedges might not be there in the new year. Their previous teacher will be returning. It was good to see the pupils being upset that they might not have Hedges. It shows a growing mutual respect. It was nice to see Potter being touched that Hedges has got him a gift as well...."
