"A series of incidents in this picture grip with elemental force, and we think it is a very safe offering to spectators who seek diversion and entertainment. In the pictures a mine owner is bound and left suspended over a deep pit in a bucket. In a little cabin, not far away, the miner's wife, tied to a post, sees a candle ready to ignite and burn through the ropes that hold the bucket up.
