"A great early episode that has the ladies spending the night together to chaperone a slumber party for Mary-Jo's daughter. The unseen Consuela figures largely in the plot, as she has put a hex on Suzanne. Some nice moments where Suzanne shows vulnerability, although Charlene and Mary Jo seem about 10 yrs too young to have grown up with Annette Funicello (whom they reference). Julia is more likely to have known who Annette was, but she's the one who doesn't seem to know her. One of the best Season 1 episodes...."
