"Sokka and Momo are hilarious in this episode but the best part of that is that it's not because of Sokka being an idiot but because he knows a cactus is a natural source of water which they need to survive (and because Momo samples it first he knows it won't physically harm him.). That said, when Sokka licks the cave after recovery, he still ends up looking like an idiot despite being the smart one. I can live with it because of the joke it sets up but he wouldn't last long at Willy Wonka's factory. Aang being as angry and short-tempered makes narrative sense given he just..."
