"Controversy and Acclaim (2006) *** (out of 4) This 9-minute featurette can be found on the MGM Special Edition of MIDNIGHT COWBOY. There's really no reason this couldn't have been featured in the main documentary (AFTER MIDNIGHT) on the disc but for whatever reason they made it its own featurette. For the most part this is a pretty good look at the controversy surrounding the sexuality in the film as well as the acclaim it won including the Best Picture Oscar.
