"DCI Kim Reid replaces DCI Gordon Wray, and doesn't waste any time getting stuck in and ruffling feathers. A good first episode for Reid, it feels as if the show has modernised somewhat with her arrival. Great jokes surrounding Monroe, it's as if they tried to humanise him a little, up until now he's been RoboCop, the manure scene was very funny. I adore Carolyn Pickles, I had absolutely no idea she was in The Bill, I look forward to seeing what she can do here, surely there will be clashes with Burnside and Roach. It's definitely going to change the dynamic of the show u..."
