"I really liked this episode. My family got our first TV during the time that Highway Patrol was being originally broadcast. But the comment from the producers about a supercharger are wrong- the car does not have such. "Normally-aspirated", meaning that it uses only atmospheric pressure to move the fuel-air mix into the cylinders. The engine in the car is probably an Oldsmobile. Less likely, but remotely possible that it is a Cadillac. Definitely not a Ford, Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, nor Chrysler product. The episode does have the reality that such a hot rod most likely could outrun..."
