"Angela Andrews is in hospital after a savage attack, Ted believes her attack is linked to a spate of killings, young homeless girls. It's a very gritty, pretty grim episode, the subject matter and tone are very sombre. It benefits from a very strong performance from Tony Scannell. Scenes of the second victim are pretty nasty, and again surprising pre watershed. Always good to see James Fleet, not long until he'd appear in Dibley. DS McIntyre was a good character, well played by the excellent Theresa Banham. Very good, 8/10...."
