Pretty much what you'd expect for "American Experience"...excellence.
""Ike" is a two-part series on this famous president, general and all around interesting guy. This review is only for part one. The first portion is about Dwight Eisenhower from his birth, early life in Kansas, time spent at West Point (where he was generally undistinguished), as well as his military career...both before and during WWII. As you'd expect, this is an exceptional documentary...something you nearly always see with "American Experience". The story is told with photos, old video footage as well as interviews.
