"Aside from being perhaps a bit too obvious in making Edward a postal employee, this was an exceptional film about madness and isolation in a crowd. While everyone at work seems to realize that Ed is odd and a misfit, they don't comprehend the depth of his madness. While others see him as daydreaming or slacking off, Ed is listening to an imaginary girlfriend and his contact with reality is diminishing rapidly.
