"Perhaps the most depressing episode of BSG since the mini-series' destruction of 99% of the human species, A Measure of Salvation has the Adamas and newly reinstalled President Roslin contemplating the use of the virus that destroyed the base star they encountered in "Torn" to exterminate the cylons forever. Things are no better for Baltar, whose duplicity is now a well-known fact among the cylons. These sad and tragic themes will eventually weave together as the two populations converge for the first time since Exodus. There is a little inconsistency in the scripted character..."

Tahmoh Penikett wanted to remove the controversial lines from the script in which his character stated that the Cylons tried to live in peace with humans in New Caprica, because he thought Helo couldn't agree with that. However, the lines were kept.
