"If you watched the recent Ken Burns documentaries on World War II, you know how much America - all its citizens and businesses - went to bat in a unified effort to win that war. Well, the makers of the famous Looney Tunes cartoons put in their fair share, too. That is documented in this behind-the-scenes featurette on the Golden Collection Volume Three disc 4 DVD set. The topics of rationing, blackouts, being drafted, working in a Defense Plant, selling bonds and, of course, actually participating as soldiers were all part of a number of Looney Tunes during the period of the early-to-mid 1940..."
