"I've heard a lot of people dishing this series but I'm sorry much of this was not that far off the mark - there is a lot worse out there. Where it fell short is in producing a strong identity. The stories seemed to be written safe and secure in not offending anyone. They were imaginative in what they wanted to achieve but could have been better delivered. The look of animalia was good with painterly backgrounds. The design was strong and many of the themes challenging. I think at the end of the day more time needed to be spent on it.
