"I saw this first part with some reserves. After beautiful versions, it seems very difficult to offer more than a reasonable version with the only benefit to be compared with the previous ones. But this first episode is more than interesting. It represents a return to basic story, without desire or need to impress . Only remind characters, genesis of Jews liberation, the answers of God to Moses and to stubborn Ramses, with a nice detail of the Egyptian brother of Moses . Sure, in a world of cinema dominated by special effects, this part is not the most seductive. But it is the fair one. Not..."
