Limited but good enough for a two-minute short film

Two lovers are desperate to be together even though they exist within different televisions on the opposite side of second hand TV shop &quot;Bob&apos;s Boxes&quot;. After spying one another they set out to be together in this tragic tale of love across the room.

A clever idea this one based on video installations. Sadly though it doesn&apos;t do enough with it and would probably work best expanded as an installation to allow the viewer to spend as little or as much time with it as required. The plot is simple and involves the characters moving between televisions by jumping; it is clever but it only does it once or twice on the way to the admittedly good conclusion. Watt put this together in almost every way (he didn&apos;t play the girl as well) and he deserves praise for it. My reservations relate to how little he seemed to want to do with it as it was so simple when a little more effort or imagination could have made it more memorable. That said though it does work well enough to be a two-minute curio that is amusing and intriguing enough to be worth a glance if you come across it.
