"Nine year old Doreen Bates is found dead on The Streets, initial enquiries lead Rose and Swift to stage hall entertainer Harold Tulk, a theatrical man, with a few problems. Rose isn't convinced by this guilt. I'm definitely watching this trilogy series out of sequence, I started with the wonderful Mr Rose, and gave worked backwards, I've also seen there's a show called The Odd Man, sadly the surviving episodes aren't easy to get hold of. This is somewhat different to Mr Rose, it's a more gritty show, nothing here is safe or cosy, it's pretty grim, but still..."
