"So the infamous cat episode that seems like filler but actually served to advance the plot by giving Lelouch the opportunity to expose his friendship with Suzaku to the rest of the students in an attempt to make an excuse to welcome him into the club. While it did contain some humorous moments the comedy felt forced at times and failed to elicit a reaction from me and just made the atmosphere a little awkward haha. With that said though, the memorial speech made by Charles zi Brittania felt forced and gave the impression of a one dimensional villain which didn't really produce the impact..."
