"Consumer rights shows are hardly riveting telly - but Joe Lycett is one of the most strangely charismatic and right-on comedians of recent years and his mix of sass, wild confidence and genuine irritation make this a solid watch. The first series is quite a bit sharper than the second and third as they decided the format needed to be longer (it doesn't), that he needed more comedian helpers (he didn't). Further to that, and I imagine as a result of the pandemic, the final episode of the second series is given over to a flaccid clipshow which was weirdly marketed as containing "..."

On Thursday, 15th August 2019 Channel 4 announced that they have commissioned an eight episode second series of the comic consumer-rights programme and that the returning series will occupy a 1 hour time-slot rather than the half-hour slot of series 1.
