His MMA career was funnier

"Honestly, I am not going into how he has no punchlines or how unfunny this is. I am just literally going to tell you not to bother with this embarrassing comedy special. One of the worst things I've ever seen..."

💡 Did You Know?

The title of the special is a quote made by Brendan Schaub during an infamous podcast with Joe Rogan and Bryan Callen. The podcast was recorded after Schaubs final MMA fight in which he was knocked out by Travis Browne. The episode started off like a typical episode of The Fighter and The Kid (although it was recorded in Joe Rogans studio) but then quickly became an intervention where Joe laid down some hard truths and talked Brendan out of his desire to continue fighting while encouraging him to focus on a career in comedy. The line came when Joe asked how Brendan believed he would fair in a wrestling match against then UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, Brendan replied "I think you'd be surprised" but Rogan said he believed Brendan would be surprised and suggested Velasquez would dominate him.
