Mareike Wolters is a diabetic - yet a competitive athlete. She owes this to her iron will, her perfectly trained diabetes therapy dog Rudi, and her friend and trainer Dennis Schwalm. When Mareike feels feverish and ill, she consults Dr. Kleist. He orders rest until they figure out what's wrong with Mareike. This advice Mareike immediately ignores, subordinating everything to her big goal - participating in a cross-country event in Sweden. She continues to train hard to the limit. In doing so, she risks not only her relationship with Dennis, but also her life. Finn has now fully settled into his host family, Kleist. A special relationship has developed between him and Tanja. Finn seems to finally find some peace thanks to her, and Tanja is enjoying being a "full-time mother" again. But then Finn's mother, Miriam, suddenly appears at the door... Freight forwarding agent Gero Jäger is fully expecting a promotion when he's introduced to the new department head, Eva Mahnke. When he visits the group practice for what he considers a minor chest bruise, the examination results in a shocking diagnosis that requires expert supervision from gynecologist Tanja Ewald. Timo von Hatzfeld receives a mysterious package containing a prophecy. Unfortunately, Dr. Carolin Thelen can't contain her curiosity. A major mishap occurs that seems destined to end in disaster.
