First Times &amp; Second Chances

So-so launch of a new label

Catering to the same Couples audience of its Sweet Sinner label, Mile HIgh Media launched a new company Bellesa that proudly presents itself as making Adult movies by women. It&apos;s an off-shoot of a lifestyle website.

This first release is a set of four vignettes directed by Jacky St. James, who also makes most of the Sweet Sinner product. Her cast and crew are the same here, but a screenwriter billed as Jessica McLaren is responsible for the minimal story lines.

The second chances segments deal with &quot;sex with an ex&quot;, a subject Jacky previously handled back at her original New Sensations home base with a feature titles &quot;The Exes and Ohhhs&quot;. In fact, four of the eight performers here starred in that previous film.

So we have Casey Calvert at a party, dismayed that her ex Michael Vegas is also attending, up to his old pick-up tricks. She reconciles with him for a fast hump in the bathroom, leading to a rather mean-spirited conclusion. Kimber Woods guest stars uncredited as Casey&apos;s pal in this segment.

Similarly, a scene called &quot;Redemption&quot; has Kristen Scott at a party where auteur St. James cameos as her college professor. She&apos;s still mad at her ex-boyfriend Tyler Nixon, but they too get back together in order to have sex.

Best scene by far is a first-time situation, set at my favorite porn location, the &quot;Immoral Proposal&quot; mansion. Abella Danger arrives there to see her friend Stacy, who is absent, so Ryan McLane asks her to stay over while he entertains her. Abella, who I often find sorely lacking in the acting department, is quite endearing here with her instant crush on Ryan leading quickly to XXX results.

Remaining first-timer action is titled simply &quot;Attraction&quot;, with lovely Aidra Fox with her winning smile falling hard for Chad White, with emphasis on the word &quot;hard&quot;. She&apos;s selling her house in order to move to New York and shows Chad around, with the corny gimmick that looking at the bedroom cues sex for them. Happy ending has him willing to sign a lease after his cum shot.

Not among Jacky&apos;s best work, and hardly the stuff that could spark a revival in the Couples Romance genre for porn buffs.
