"How selfish it is to consider the life-altering experiences of others "propaganda" - selfish or just scared, but I'm no less amazed at their need to announce their lack of empathy to the world. I'd keep it quiet. Empathy isn't a favor you do for someone else; the loss is yours in not having what seems foreign to those of us who aren't threatened by a particular grief that we haven't shared or envious of the courage to express it.
