"This was a blind watch for me and I enjoyed it a lot. I feel like a lot of people are going to have a problem with seeing Thor as anything but a hero.. because of the MCU portrayal but I'm okay with seeing another side and things and a story told in a different way with a different version of the character. I enjoyed the pilot, so I'm going to see how it develops. Knew absolutely nothing going in, so the sexiness and the gore did catch me off guard. "Twilight of the Gods" was conceived by Jay Oliva during an impromptu phone call with John Derderian from Netflix. While attending a writer's summit for his previous series, Trese, Oliva was asked if he knew anything about Norse mythology. He quickly pitched an idea, which Netflix loved, and they reached out again, suggesting he collaborate with Zack Snyder. The two developed the concept further, and Eric Carrasco was brought on as head writer to lead the script-writing team.
