"Meta Runner is an amazing series that we didn't deserve. It's got an amazing series with great comedy, great characters, and a well done story to back it all up, however... it's animation has some lighting/movement problems at some points. This is most noticeable after Episode 3 of Season 1 where the animation noticeably went downhill a little. Aside from that, it's a great series made by talented people and I love to tune in every Thursday to see what comes next. Keep up the good work, Glitch Productions...."

The main character Tari was originally going to be a character for SMG4 (another web series) but eventually was used as a basis for this show. Late in development Tari was added to SMG4 in August 2018, including several easter eggs relating to Meta Runner before the show was announced in December 2018.
