"This is an intensely interesting picture. It depends for power almost wholly on the acting of one player (the human tigress) who capably creates the impression that if she is crossed in her purpose something very distressing indeed will happen. She does this almost wholly by facial expression. The impression is maintained with much skill, both by the actress and by the producer who arranged the lighting and accessories, especially at the climax, when the tigress, candle in hand, is taking her way from room to room towards her victim's apartment.
