The actors are in deep conflict at the outset of each scene, with a violent fight ending in the usual sexual intimacy. The notion of roommates enduring friction by virtue of being cooped up together is convincing, even if boiled down to the raw basics to make way, as is the current porn custom, for nearly wall-to-wall sex content.
