Solid feel good movie with good acting and dialog

"My wife and I just watched this movie and we both really enjoyed it. The main character Bob Funk reminds me of Campbell Scott in Roger Dodger. He is obviously intelligent (apparent from his witty and insightful dialog) but also somewhat negative and self destructive which makes him more multidimensional than your average sharp tongued playboy. It makes for a good time to watch him rant and get knocked down and then pick himself back up again. I fully recommend you watch this and do not understand why anyone would hate it...."
