"This one's a bit tricky. Mister Sandman is a horror short with both pros and cons. On the plus side, the overall quality is impressive for a short film. The setting feels cinematic-like something lifted straight from a feature-length production-and the short gives the impression of having a bigger budget than it likely did. On the downside, the Sandman himself came across more like the genie from Aladdin than a nightmarish figure, and the special effects on him felt underwhelming.
