"Had to walk out on this one at a film festival in Sydney, which is something I rarely do. In terms of story, there's no real conflict to drive this film along. I found it tedious and was not moved at all by the young boy's plight to try and get his father back. Lots of scenes of the boy placing his toy soldiers or coins on the train track. I also didn't understand the whole 'fate' angle. Anyone looking for a strong story about a boy and his father would be advised to watch the Aussie film Romulus My Father a far superior film to this. I have no idea why anyone would ..."
