"I have followed The Good Place these four seasons, and even before the big reveal at the end of the first season was convinced that one of the things the story shows is that a heaven that we earn would indeed be a living hell. Now at the end, we have a heaven without God that is also an unending hell. Without intending to do so, I think that The Good Place is a validation of the Christian concepts of both a heaven that is not earned, but is given by grace, and that heaven without a God can scarcely be called heaven. To God be the glory!..."
