Vince is hanging out at the carriage house with Joe. Joe tells Vince that he had to fire one of his reporters today, Matt McAllister. Larry arrives at Tony's place and is not thrilled to see Karen at the bar chatting with Alan, not knowing that Alan is on a date with Joy, a singer auditioning for Tony. Matt pressures Dorian to get his job back at the Banner. Larry asks Karen what Alan is doing there and is very jealous. At first Larry was going to have dinner, but changes his mind because of Alan and tells Karen that he will pick her up after her shift. Tony comes out of the office and sees Alan. Tony tells Alan about his visit with Cathy today. The MacGruder's are getting closer and closer to Kevin, which has Mr. M worried because he is very uncomfortable that they will have to give Kevin back to the real parents and he is growing attached to Kevin as is Mrs. M. Dorian calls up Joe, but does not get her way with getting Matt his job back. After Joe hangs up he tells Vinnie that he does believe that Dorian has changed because she did not have to hire someone to look for Kevin in Arizona at Ed's request. Cathy has a terrible nightmare that Mrs. MacGruder is working as a waitress at Tony's and waiting on Brian.
