The original version of Outer Space on Art TV was the most popular of Serbian computer, gaming and tech review TV shows from 1990s and 2000s which also include PC-TV, e-TV, Game Over (RTV Politika), Polarotor, Intro (RTV Studio B), Male tajne velikih majstora dzojstika (RTV NS), Profi Bajt (RTV Politika), CD Bajt (RTV Politika), Netvvork and Hi Tech (RTV Pink). There were also several similar shows on Serbian radio including Rom & Ram, PC Petak, and the most popular of these called ZAIR - Zakon Akcije I Reakcije by Zoran Modli. Outer Space went on a brief hiatus in 1999 during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia but returned later that year. The show's crew eventually split into two, with the original crew forming Cyber Space (later Cyber Space Gaming and Cyber Space Hardware) and moving to 3K RTS circa 2001 where this new rebranded version lasted for a couple of more years, while skeleton crew remained to work on ART TV's in-name-only version of Outer Space for barely a few more months. One final attempt was made to bring the show back in 2006 on Happy TV, but that bare-bones version only ran for several episodes. All versions except for the in-name-only Art TV one were hosted by Andrija aka Dr. The show always presented itself as a transmission from the crew's space station.
