"I can't help but feel as though Pokémon has embraced that much of their audience are teenagers or even young adults. I had grown so used to cliche 4/10 - 5/10 quality films I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. In the past it felt as though writing "Pokémon" on the cover was enough to turn a profit. Now, the films have genuinely good content and not just the brand name. This movie has a good plot, while admittedly not thoroughly original it is paced and written well.
