"Red Mike" and "Yellow Joe," a pair of crooks, overhear Ethelyn Flounce's appeal to Policeman Macclub. Her suitcase, filled with all her valuables, has been stolen. Won't the uniformed chap please find it for her? He will. The two crooks are also on the lookout for the lady's valuables, and prove to be better sleuths than the guardian of the peace. From the interior of an auction room issues forth a man and a suitcase. The man fits the description given to the police and the case, well, "Red Mike" and his companion, "Yellow Joe," are very much on the job and follow both the man and the suitcase. After some patient work on the pursuer's part, they almost succeed in getting the lady's valuables, but the lynx-eyed officer of the law is there with bells on and captures man, suitcase and valuables, three Teddy bears and a doll.
