I really liked this episode of &quot;Frontline&quot; because it&apos;s one that any sane person could appreciate--and you don&apos;t need to be a liberal or a conservative in order to agree with the film&apos;s premise. Using the US Department of Agriculture as an example, this &quot;Frontline&quot; episode is all about government waste, bloat and inefficiency. Such problems as the abuse of programs that pay farmers subsidies and MANY non-agricultural duties of this department (such as controlling the forests instead of the Department of the Interior) are discussed and EVERYONE agreed that the system is broken and in need of fixing.

The show begins with President Clinton announcing that he&apos;s going to streamline government and cut out all the waste. Now, 17 years later, the government has grown A LOT MORE--and despite an economy that is near collapse, the powers that be seem disinclined to do anything substantial. For example, in the &quot;Frontline&quot; episode, they cut a whopping 1% from the USDA&apos;s budget--exactly the tiny cuts being proposed by BOTH Democrats and Republicans in Congress. As I said, things really haven&apos;t changed...at least not for the better.

Well made and important viewing by every American. Sadly, few will ever watch this--there are no explosions, sex or laughs!
