I have been impressed with the drama Channel Five have been producing over the last few years, and on this evidence, The Drowning looks like continuing the trend. I enjoyed this, it's a very simple plot, but so far effective, I have seen similar storylines before, I remember an episode of Waking The Dead, but it's engaging enough.
