In 1973, when Agent 007 continued his adventures on the big screen, Christian Bizot, President of Bollinger, met one of the two producers of the Bond films, Albert R. Broccoli, called «Cubby». The two understood each other splendidly straight away and so the two came into being. Their families spontaneously have a friendly relationship that continues to this day. Official publicity stated: "This seals an obvious connection between two myths, that share many common values: excellence, authenticity, a certain elegance and even a pinch of serenity."
