EMT Diana Wilson has experienced a lot on the job with the FDNY over her 17 year career, but she has never experienced anything quite like this. With the volume of calls at an all-time high due to the pandemic, Diana is constantly providing medical assistance to those in need and exposing herself to the virus every day. As a result, she sacrifices not seeing her children in over a month to ensure their health and safety. Reverend Andy Bales runs the Union Rescue Mission in LA, one of the largest homeless shelter missions in the US. As the virus keeps spreading, Reverend Andy scrambles to respond to the growing number of people who need his help. Despite having heart disease, kidney disease, and type 1 diabetes, he remains on the frontlines, serving the brothers and sisters of his community, even if it means putting his own health at risk. Truck Operator Serita Lockley is working harder than ever now in order to deliver essential items to retirement homes and stores. After taking out loans and deferring payments so that she can keep her employees on payroll, Serita keeps on trucking. But with her father's health declining, Serita can't help but be concerned about their well-being.
