Couldn&apos;t finish it, like 20 other episodes this season

My overall rating of &quot;Power rangers Beast morphers&quot;&apos; Season 2: 1/10.

I like Evox. He&apos;s a cool, powerful, threatening villain, exactly something that the &quot;Power rangers&quot; shows I&apos;d seen previously, &quot;Power rangers Ninja Storm&quot; and &quot;Power ranger in space&quot;, were missing. I like him winning in most of his confrontations with the Rangers. The problem, though, is that, when the plot that takes you to this epic climax is idiotic, its having cool plotbeats rather fails, and its not being able to stick to the tone doesn&apos;t exactly help. There is so much nonsense here. Evox&apos;s takeover of the network (following an unhinged plan that he could&apos;ve easily sidestepped any time he was in the base as Mayor); the complete failure to establish a tone of a city and organisation on the brink; the attempts at drama that fall mostly flat because they seem to be copied from a book of cliches - and that&apos;s before you get to bad continuity (the blue wheel Robotron first fights Zoey up above but in the next shot is fighting Steel below), or my usual hang-ups about the lame costumes for this show...

My headcanon is that Evox won, because he deserves it, him and Scrozzle being legitimately great villains (with Blaze and Roxy being great villain supports whenever they&apos;re not complete screw-ups - they certainly were more threatening and looked cooler in early Season 1 than ever since). Though maybe make that a bittersweet ending with the Rangers and Grid Battleforce leading humanity away to a secret dimension - a cosmic-scale repeat of &quot;Power rangers R. P. M.&quot; - that would be a cool resolution too. Guess how I know they didn&apos;t do that? (Yeah, by knowing it&apos;s a children&apos;s show, but still - you can have darker endings in them too...)
