If You Want To Know Who Won For Town Planning, You&apos;ll Have To Look It Up

We get to look at the Olympians marching around the stadium at the beginning. At the end, they extinguish the torch and put up a notice that the first modern Olympics took place in 1896 in Greece, and the next would be in Berlin in 1936. In between we get to look at an assortment of athletic events and a brief look at several of the winners.

Just about every Olympics gets a movie commemorating it, although for the last forty years or so, it&apos;s mostly been television coverage. Looking at this one, you had no reason to imagine that the world was about to begin more than a decade of disaster; it had already begun the previous year, when Japan had invaded Manchuria and set up a puppet government.
