Matt tells Betty his family home is at 2921 Madison Avenue. (In the real New York, this is a nonexistent address, as Madison stops at around 2200, after which is the bridge over the Harlem River into the Bronx.) She asks, "What apartment?" He replies, "The whole building." Betty meets Matt's mother at the family home, then she and Matt leave to go to a hockey game. They are seen walking out of the entrance at 940 Madison. As they talk, they walk South on Madison a half block to East 74th, where they turn right, walking West on 74th, past the awning at No.23 East 74th. Just past that point, they stop and talk in front of No.21, then get into a cab to go to the game. This is one of many 'location' shots around New York City done throughout the series.
