Br. Patrick Lafranca opens the program with warm greetings and an introduction to the Annual Meeting that took place on October 6, 2018. The first speaker we hear from is Br. Stephen Lett with the theme 'Appreciating Our Spiritual Paradise.' He details the comparisons between the Garden of Eden and the our spiritual paradise today. 'Courage to Stand Firm in a Time of Trial' is the title of a video he introduces which is narrated by Br. Rick Ford. We learn that this is also the theme of a new exhibit at World Headquarters. It chronicles the times of trial the Bible Students experienced during 1914-1919. Its encouraging message is faith-strengthening. Br. Lett also introduces a second video starring Br. Gerrit Losch with his fascinating experience in Eastern Europe during the communist ban. One very touching experience is when he relates how a group of 5,000 brothers that had separated from the organization were reunified decades later. A third 9 minute animated video starring Sophia and Caleb entitled "Make Jehovah Happy" is debuted during the program. Br. Samuel Herd interviews 4 branch committee members that are reaching the 80 years of age limit to be a branch coordinator. Their humble and wise words are delightful and heartwarming. The program ends with a postcard of warm greetings from Croatia.
