"I thought this was another story that suffered from clunky writing. Having had relatives who had mixed marriages in the 1950s and 60s when it was heavily frowned upon. I could not even envisage, their children having a conversation of this type with them. Jordan who is mixed race, has just had a daughter with her black boyfriend.
