"The pairing of Brian Blessed and Phyllis Logan is one of the best of the entire series! The banter between Blessed's character and Dr. Rose had me chuckling throughout the show. After a series of heart-breaking episodes, this one was a delightful relief of wry humor, genuine "love," and a great blending of the primary stories of the episode.
